This short story, released for the Amazon Kindle, was a rewrite of two chapters that were removed from the manuscript of Black Ice during the editing process, on the basis that they slowed the action down for no good reason. The rewrite has now moved the timing of the story from being right in the middle of Black Ice to shortly after it ends.
